Norwegian open infrastructure for high-throughput experimentation and scale-up (NorHTE)

NorHTE is a national infrastructure funded by the Research Council of Norway. With nodes at UiB and NTNU, NorHTE will bring Norway to the forefront of rapid synthesis and experimentation and provide the nation with vital scale-up capabilities for producing fine chemicals and advanced materials. The needs of different user groups will be met by establishing a versatile and open infrastructure that covers both organic and inorganic synthesis and allows for systematic, and time- and cost- efficient explorations of the reaction space.  NorHTE will provide hands-on training to students and users to help develop the national competence in HTE that is needed to keep Norwegian industry competitive.

NorHTE will boost research activity and output aimed at key societal challenges, including clean and renewable energy, sustainable chemical production, and improved health through innovations in drug discovery.
